Tintype of Steam Locomotive w/2 African Americans,
two men posed in front of the steam locomotive, c. 1850-60, lettering on the wood tender reads "Paul C. Cameron" (Paul Carrington Cameron lived in Burnside in Hillsborough, NC 1808-1891. In the 1850s Paul Cameron contracted to build large sections of the NC railroad and served on the board of directors, elected to president of the RR in 1861), image in pressed paper case; case separated at the hinge, some loss to surface of image near bottom; 3.75"h x 4.75"w Est. 1000-2000
