F-47 Cuirassier officer’s uniform: (1) Exceptional quality white koller with red piping around shoulders, back and down arms. 1 3/8” wide silver bullion “tape” with a red border and silver edging, down front of both sides of tunic, around collar and red cuffs. Relief bullion silver embroidered cuff tabs with silver buttons. White cord on left side of chest to accommodate decorations. Also a cloth embroidered “Johanitter” Order. Banjo type epaulettes – gilt-brass crescent on silver “waffle” background with two gilt stars (rank of Oberst). Missing buttons. Red piped “skirt” with six silver buttons. Original padded silk lining, ink stamped “Max Jacobi – Dresden” – probably a distributor. Some age stains and surface “tracking”. (2) Matching quality white breeches. Lining named to “Gobel”. Some mothing and repairs. (3) Quality officer’s black leather M1888 model boots (come up over the knee – cut below in the rear). Leather in very good condition. (4) Officer spurs with correct large round rowels and leather attachments. (5) Silk interior collar liner and two soft buff leather guards. II
