B-25 Hamburg Cross – also known as the Hindenberg Cross. A WWI combat award. White enameled cross with gold crossed swords holding a silver oval relief combat soldier. All mounted on a convex eight-pointed silver starburst. Reverse is marked “Deutsches Feld – Ehrenzeichen” and “GES. GESCH”. Also with a miniature version stickpin identical to the badge except that the center oval bears a portrait of a helmeted soldier. Well made with a jeweler’s catch. II+
