Rare Pennsylvania Queen Anne cherry tall case clock, c.1740, the sarcophagus bonnet encasing a brass face with pewter chapter ring and signed "Edw. Duffield, Philadelphia" above a case with a tombstone door above a conforming base with shaped bracket feet. 94"h.
Condition
Case overly refinished, bonnet appears to be fine, one-piece backboard with rose-head nails, some buildup to accommodate the saddleboard, crack to center base in front, feet appear to be original.
