GRAND RAPIDS DESK CO. ROLL TOP OAK DESK, C.1900, H 50", W 66", D 36":Desk is from the Occidental Hotel, Muskegon, Michigan. Includes 37 small drawers under roll top, 7 small mail cubicles, 1 larger cubicle in center, four drawers on each pedestal and desk is on casters.

The piece needs a good bit of repair. We do not know the condition of the roll top, it is taped up and we do not want to stress it without knowing how sturdy it is. The piece is solid wood, with some veneer on the top of the piece. It definitely needs refinishing as it shows it was used. There is some splitting on the base, one drawer pull is broken another is missing, all others are connected and intact. The drawer cluster is shifter from 1/16" to 1" back, original position is visible. Some drawer bases are cracked and missing segments, some are quite warped. Maybe be missing a loew middle drawer, under the desktop, also may be missing pullout surfaces above each set of larger drawers in base.
