Two Alicia Sundt Motts (American, Ohio/20th century) watercolor paintings. 1ST ITEM: watercolor depicting a female nude in the Art Deco manner on oval paper and mounted on a black background. Inscribed en verso, "Gift from Jeannette, 1961. Painted by: Alicia Sundt Motts." Also bearing a Cleveland, Ohio Art Center stamp. Overall good condition. Sight 11 3/4" H x 8" W. Framed: 13" H x 9" W. Note: Examples Of Mott's work were exhibited in 1936 at the Art Institute of Chicago, 1941 Cleveland Museum of Art, and 1945 National Academy of Design. She sometimes used the alias "Howard E. Motts". 2ND ITEM: Alicia Sundt Motts(American, Ohio/20th century) watercolor titled "Youth Helping Old Age" depicting a young female nude assisting an older robed female in the Art Deco manner and centered in an oblong frame. Inscribed en verso, "Christmas gift from Jeannette, 1967. Titled - Youth Helping Old Age. Painted by: Alicia Sundt Motts." Also bearing a Cleveland, Ohio Art Center stamp. Overall good condition with overall toning to paper. Sight: 15 1/4" H x 11" W. Framed: 16 1/2" H x 12 1/4" W.
