Description

Dutch 17th or 18th century painting of an elderly and austerely dressed woman with a lovely luminous, kind face. The very early Dutch oil on canvas painting with a mysterious Dutch Master or Vermeer like quality, is laid down on masonite. There is some in-painting along the horizontal cracks and at the bottom. The painting measures 22 1/4" high, 19" wide. The frame measures 30" x 26".
