From ancient Egypt, Dynasty I to II, ca. 3000 to 2700 B.C. Gray slate shallow plate, of circular form with rounded base. Size 9½ inches diameter (24.3 cm.).
Provenance: Ex-Hans Goedicke Foundation for Egyptology, acquired in Egypt between 1956-1958 (said to have come from Aswan).
