Greek Art, 4th century B.C. Nice red figure paestan lekane, lid decorated with a seated woman, topless, a veil covering her hips and legs, adorned with jewels and a sakkos. She is facing is a spotted jaguar. The knob is decorated with a palmette and the rim with a frieze of waves. The bowl is entirely varnished in black with the exception of the foot and the border, decorated with black stripes. Sold with a TL test. Total height: 6.29"T x 9.44"D
