Made in the Greek colony of Apulia in southeastern Italy, ca. 340 to 325 BC. Oil-pouring vessel, called an Epichysis; spooled base, long neck and handle, straight spout, small faces to each side. Top of spool decorated with laurel leaves and wave pattern. 6"H.
