From ancient Greece, ca. 3rd - 2nd century BC. Wheel made terracotta pottery lamp with bowl shaped body' the thin, beveled rim surrounds a large fill hole, two conical nozzles with ample wick hole. Dimensions: Length 6" (15.2 cm).
PROVENANCE: Private collection of a diplomat, acquired in Rhodes between 1968-1969.
