Oliver (1840-1904) founder of Oliver Iron Mining Co. married Edith Cassidy in 1862. Their daughter Edith Oliver (1865-1940) married Henry Robinson Rea in 1889. Oliver gave the newlyweds 250 acres inn Sewickley Heights to build their grand home and formal gardens, named Farmhill. Their only son Michael Moorhead Rea and Mrs. Joyner married in 1952.
