Description
Circa 1st century BC-4th century AD. A mixed group of cast bronze pins and implements comprising: a round-section pin with ribbed central section and bird finial, integral loop; a round-section pin with ribbed central section and bird finial; a segmented round-section pin with bird finial; a round-section pin with ribbed central section, bird finial surmounted by a cross and integral loop below; a cautery with round-section shaft, leaf-shaped blade and point; an osteotome with round-section shaft, olivoid bulb terminal and tongue-shaped curved lever with transverse banding. Copper-alloy, 125 grams, 118 - 205 mm. Ex Filk collection, formed in the 1950's. [6]
