Daedalus Variations Soldier Costume

Costume worn by the unidentified "Daedalus Variations" aliens from the Stargate Atlantis Season Five episode of the same name. These formidable creatures invaded an alternate reality Daedalus while Sheppard's team was still aboard.
Technical Description:
Production-made costume consisting of: black canvas trousers with black spandex back, black flexible armor panels on each thigh, front clasp and zipper closure, black elastic suspenders, and black elastic stirrups. Black spandex zip-up jacket with bronze painted canvas panels on stomach and back, bronze ribbed rubber sleeves, and Velcro hem. Bronze leather vest with rubber strip details, rubber tubing details, rubber tubing collar, snap and Velcro front closure, vacuum-formed plastic collar clip, webbing and buckle side closures, lined with black neoprene, and engraved with red alien symbol on left breast, production marked "1" inside. Two bronze leather shoulder pads with rubber tubing details and webbing and buckle attachment points. Two bronze leather bicep armor cuffs with Velcro closures and webbing and buckle attachment points. Two bronze leather elbow armor cuffs with hard plastic elbow pad, Velcro and webbing and buckle closures, and webbing and buckle attachment points. Bronze motorcycle gloves by Rocket with bronze leather gauntlets, bronze leather arrowhead details, Velcro closures, Velcro and webbing strap closures, and webbing and buckle attachment points. Two black plastic and nylon knee pads with elastic and buckle straps. Black leather boot covers with padded leather details, Velcro back closures, and black elastic stirrups. leather and rubber holster with three plant-ons and nylon webbing to attach to belt; rubber and nylon belt with Velcro closing back. Webbing belt covered with bronze molded rubber details and buckle and Velcro back closure. Bronze molded leather holster with bronze rubber details, webbing and Velcro belt strap, and webbing and buckle leg strap. Armored pieces are rubber coated to simulate corrosion.
