An earlier version of the Asgard puppet Thor, believed to have been used in the Stargate SG-1 episodes "The Fifth Race" and "Fair Game". This early version of Thor was not as advanced as its progeny, but still holds great significance to the series.
Technical Description:
Production made foam latex puppet with silicone skin. Puppet features a mechanical skeleton with a metal armature that is operated by two metal hand devices and are connected through a series of metal tubes running into the puppet. Includes a remote control for movement of the facial features, remote is untested as well as the electronics. Puppet is able to move its head in different directions as well as move his mouth with aid of the hand devices. Shows signs of wear from production as well as tears in the silicone around the neck area and nose area. Silicone is purple in color with light hueins of dark purple and grey. Measures 50in tall and includes a black wooden storage crate and dolly from production.
