Dr. Peter Grodin examines the device in detail in one of the opening scenes. Shortly afterward, this prop skitters across the frozen wastes of Antarctica, just short of General O'Neill.
Technical Description:
Production made plastic and resin dome shaped device with a yellow dome attached to a blue body with six tentacles made from numerous pieces. Item lights up through the main body via a switch on the bottom and features a crack and chips in the main dome from production. Measures 36in long.
