HEAVY SILK WALKING SUIT with UNUSUAL TRIM, EARLY 20th C. Dress and jacket of natural ottoman lavishly trimmed with black piped scallops, 84 self buttons, blue Chinese figural embroidered silk. High neck dress having handmade bobbin lace undersleeves and bodice trim, black satin cummerbund, two large brass portrait buttons at back waist. Jacket with deep cuff, faux pockets, Chinese silk faux vest. Johnston Estate. B-36, W-26, L-56, Jacket Sh-16, L-31. (Buttons worn, soiled) good.
