Snake Jug, #10. Signed, numbered and dated, 1990. This is a wonderful example to document the evolution of the Crocker snake jugs as this is one of the earliest examples made. Note the primitive flat head of the snake versus the much more realistic later versions. There are minor separations between the jug and the snake. The Crockers were just starting this technique and had not yet mastered the seemless connection of snake and jug. Other than the separation, the jug is in near mint condition including the scales. 12" h. Est. $700-1,000. Ship: $65
