Three (3) carved ivory figures. 1ST ITEM: Large carved bird, small area of loss to tail wing, one foot replaced. 1 3/4"H x 5"W. 2ND ITEM: two dogs on an oval base, colored noses and eyes. Slight chips to base. 1 3/8"H 2 1/4"L. 3RD ITEM: Mother turtle with 5 baby turtles. Excellent condition. 1"H x 3 3/8"L. Provenance: Collected by George Mitchell (co-owner of Mitchell's Candy Store, Nashville) during the course of several trips to China and Japan in the late 19th-early 20th century. Mitchell estate.
