Today We Live collection of (45+) vintage stills from the personal archive of Howard Hawks. (MGM, 1933) The first of many collaborations between director Howard Hawks and novelist/ screenwriter William Faulkner, this one from Faulkner's own novel; story has an interesting Pre-Code element of childhood sweethearts Joan Crawford and Robert Young growing up to live "in sin", and being challenged by suitor Gary Cooper. Best remembered now as being the vehicle which brought Crawford together with Franchot Tone, with whom sparks flew and marriage soon followed. From Hawks' personal archive a collection of (45+) vintage silver-bromide double-weight custom 8" x 10" matte prints plus (1) 11" x 14" matte print. Includes numerous portraits and scenes of Crawford alone and with her costars, many of which have never appeared in print or on the collector's market for sale.
