Original vintage colored engravings (9) ranging from 12" x 16" to 14" x 19" from two different printers; Currier and Ives includes: "The Darktown Slide" (1884), "The Darktown Glide" (1884), "Laying Back,- Stiff for a Brush" (1878), "Hung Up,- With the Starch Out" (1878), "A Corinthian Race/ A High Toned Start" (1883), "A Corinthian Race/ A Low Toned Finish" (1883); from John W. Barnett: "The Noble Art" #1, 2, and 3, by G. Bridgeman, 1882, a boxing series. Condition varies significantly, as archival framing was not used leaving mat burns and foxing, though images and colors are attractive and largely unmolested.
