Egypt, New Kingdom-Late Period c. 1554-600 B.C. Cream-white steatite scarab, carefully incised with a falcon, representing the King, wearing the Red Crown of Lower Egypt and a protective cobra wearing the sun-disk. 5/8" (1.5cm)

Provenance: Formerly in a Calgary Private Collection, prior to 1983
