Egypt, XXVth to XXX Dynasty, Ca. 525 to 341 BC. Of typical form holding a pick and hoe with a seed bag over his left shoulder, the front impressed with ten horizontal bands of hieroglyphic text, and modeled with a handsome face. 7-3/8"T, complete with base. Nice pools of green glaze.
Provenance: Acquired from a New Jersey Collector.
Intact and good size, but some age wear.
