only edition. Now best-known for the lymphoma named for him, Hodgkin was the outstanding British pathologist of his time. He was also the close friend and personal physician of the Anglo-Jewish philanthropist Sir Moses Montefiore and often accompanied him on his missions abroad. This book recounts their journey to Morocco, where Montefiore sought to improve the condition of the Jewish community by meeting with the Sultan. It was published posthumously, dedicated to Montefiore, after Hodgkin's death in Palestine on their following trip.
