Lot 405925 View Catalog
This is a folding trigger revolver dating from the late 1800's. It is from a European maker, which we believe to be Dutch. There are hallmarks present. It features a hinged piece on the right side that opens the barrel for loading. It is a .44-40 calibre, with 7 inch barrel. The overall dimensions of this gun is 5 5/8 inches long x 3 3/8 inches tall. The exterior is nickel. The grips on either side are wood, and they are in good condition, with no cracks. * We have not tested it with bullets, but we have tested the trigger and loading mechanisms, and it seems to be functioning smoothly. It will need a little cleaning. There is surface wear oveall, but no pitting. It is in very good condition. * The machining and workmanship on this gun are excellent. It is a terrific little revolver for the firearms or antique collector.
