G. Schroter, Oil Painting on Wood Panel

Possibly Dutch, and in the style of Dutch artist Vameer. This painting is not a copy of any known piece, yet circa 1940-1950, thus "in the style." It has a provenance of Mr. Bob Birns, a former Blue Angel and race car driver known to Michigan residents. It is in a very nice newer version master's frame with elaborate reeding and speckled gold ton wood liner as frame is also carved wood and gesso, 19.5" H x 15.5" W, sight, 28" H x 24" W, framed.
