13. ROMAN MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS Seven different bronze implements including three variously shaped spoons, a scalpel, a spatula and two others. Excavated in Jerusalem, they date from the time of the Herodian period during the Roman occupation of Israel, ca. 63-BC to 135 CE. All display a nice patina and are in excellent condition.
