Production Description:
Irregular piece of the saucer section of the U.S.S. Chekov from the "starship graveyard" scene in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Best of Both Worlds, Part. II." This ship was made with parts from commercially-available model kits and was originally constructed as a customized "study model" for possible new ship designs for the show. This piece of wreckage was cut away from the study model when it was distressed to simulate battle damage. From the collection of Mike and Denise Okuda.
Technical Description:
Made from plastic and painted light blue with numerous decals and features production placed damage around the edges. Measures 5in x 5in.
