Production Description:
Hero Defiant helm control panel used during the production of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. This is the main backlit control panel from the bridge of the defiant set and was seen throuout the third through the seventh seasons. From the collection of Doug Drexler.
Technical Description:
Smoked acrylic with multiple layers, which include a film negative, hand cut colored gels and a translucent diffusion mask. Multiple countersunk holes around edge, and the Plexiglas on the left side is cracked in half from production use. Measures 67' x 13'.
