42: Oak Carved Clock Attributed To R.J. Horner
Oak clock case carved on three sides. The front has a woman's head carved upon a shield with wreaths of bellflowers flanked by squared columns. The sides have carved nude female forms above open mouth lions. The dial is brass with porcelain inserts for the Roman Numerals with repair to the seven. 8-day Medallion Series movement by S. Marti & Co. in Paris. 23 1/4" x 10 1/4" x 40 1/2" high. Works.
