758. [ARTISTS] Two notables of different art forms. Reuben Award winner MEL LAZARUS (b. 1927), creator of cartoon characters "Miss Peach" and "Momma." Original drawing, 23½"x18" full-length image of a student showing her a card of the letter "S." He tells her, "It's the 'S' for sex, Miss Peach." Accomplished in black felt-tip and boldly signed beneath image. Contained under glass within simple wood frame. Overall 20"x26". Plus painter and illustrator NORMAN ROCKWELL (1894-1978). TLS "Norman," 1p, 8vo, Stockbridge, MA, Feb 12, 1969. On his personal letterhead to Mr. Quigley thanking him for birthday wishes.
