Temco Aircraft Corporation Cased Factory Scale Model of the ASM-N-8 Corvis Anti Radiation Missile. Developed by Temco Aircraft, a Dallas based corporation, for the US Navy C.1958. The ASM-N-8 was a nuclear tipped anti radar missile, developed by Temco, and included successful test flights, but the project was canceled in 1960. 14" X 21" X 7" high 'suitcase' with brass snap closures and Temco logos. Custom mounts inside for the 17 1/4" missile and two different warheads. Missile with original red paint and marked with US Navy insignia. Both the missile and warheads are hand crafted of steel with superb detail. There are mounts for two additional warheads which are missing. Also included is the original factory lucite mount, also bearing the bearing the Temco Aircraft Corporation logo. Beautiful model and clearly meant for presentation to defense contractor personnel. Entire set in about perfect condition.
