TWO WATERCOLORS ON PAPER. Full length pictures of young women in fancy costumes. One has a red dress with white blouse and black vest, the other has a yellow dress wth red top. Labels on the backs attribute these to Charles Shoettel (New York City, ca 1840-1850), from an album in the family of John D. Ottiwell. Minor stains and gilt frames have minor wear. 7 3/4"h. 5 1/4"w.
