Classical urn shape with slightly flared rim, front decorated with classical warrior characters in blue, yellow and green on a panel outlined in blue, front of neck and loop handles decorated in yellow and black leaf design, outlined with blue bands, front with panel at bottom inscribed, "SVC Petrosen", back having panel with blue under-glaze inscription comprised of crown, cross, fleur de lis and scroll decoration, "AR" and "1702", thought to be English dating from 1702, the first year of the reign of Queen Anne, 18"t. Condition: crazing, roughness around rim.
