Rosewood Piano stood in the Civil Concert Hall, Leipzig Germany, where it was played by numerous great musicians, among them, Brahms and Anton Rubenstein. It was then purchased by the Heldentenor (Dramatic Tenor) Oscar Jung, and subsequently used on numerous concert tours throughout Europe. It was brought to America my Mme. Marie Hager in 1913, who used it in her home in Alhambra, California, up to the time of her death in 1938.
