C. 1900 ART NOUVEAU BRONZE SCULPTURE BY LUCIEN ALLIOT
27 inches high, a period original signed on reverse and bearing an indecipherable founder's seal. On front is the title Phalene. Very good condition, light wear. Nice varigated green patina on her dress. Alliot was born in 1877. He was a pupil of Barrias and Couton and exhibited at the Salon from 1905 till 1939 and was a member of the Salon's Jury from 1934 onwards.
