Artist: ANONYMOUS Size: 28 x 40 7/8 in./71.3 x 104 cm Erie Litho, Erie, PA From 1906 to 1938, the Al G. Barnes Circus was the Pride of the West, with a particular emphasis on trained animals. This is further noted in the fact that most of its advertisements refer to it as a 'wild animal circus.' Although it frequently performed in Canada, it never ventured further East than Indiana, making it a true Western-based circus.
