Artist: ANONYMOUS Size: 93 1/2 x 63 3/4 in./237.5 x 162 cm Imp. Paul Dupont, Paris Active around the turn of the century, Bostock's toured both America and Europe. Here, in this poster for its French tour, we see the famed lion trainer Cardona amidst his many lions. He would later be killed by Wallace, one of the lions shown. The circus itself was even featured in a handful of early silent films, documenting everything from simple pony routines to the entire company fording a stream.
