Two 19th century English Percussion Fowlers
the first, circa 1850s, 50.75 in. barrel with three hallmarks on the left side, 5/8 in. bore, 67 in. overall length, walnut half stock, brass mounts, including decorative trigger guard terminating in a pineapple. Pitting to metal on and near the lockplate; various small splits to the stock; the second, circa 1850s, walnut half stock, two hallmarks on 44 in. barrel, 60 in. overall length, three silver inlays, brass mounts. Wood loss at lockplate; barrel loose; expected pitting from use.
