Greene, Albert Van Nesse [American, 1887-1971] rare impressionist watercolor painting of a winter scene with docked sailing ships, probably Gloucester, Maine, signed l.l. "A. Van Nesse Greene". Provenance: given by the artist to the consignor as a wedding present. Greene lived and worked in Chester Springs and, a veteran of WWI, is interred at Arlington National Cemetery. 18.75"x22.5"
