Born in Vermont in 1908 Ray lived and worked in New York and Arizona and created many covers for pulp fiction paperback novels such as this example, "The Golden Wildcat" for Creasent Books. Painting is in a molded gilt wood frame, 21 1/2"h. X 18 3/4"w. sight and 28 3/4"h. X 25 3/4"w. overall. Condition: Good.
