Chinese, probably 17th or 18th century, well-figured wood with mellow patina, yellow rosewood (?) throughout, three stacked trays with one shallow interior tray, on a fitted frame with shaped brackets and hump-backed handle, trays, lid and handle with metal inlay on corners, with square-headed brass locking pin, 8-1/2 x 13-1/2 x 7-3/8 in., minor scratches, otherwise excellent condition
