The small Newcomb College Pottery vase having a thick pale aqua and blue glaze against a gray ground, depicting a Southern landscape of live oak trees draped in Spanish moss; thrown by Joseph Meyer and possibly decorated by Saide Irvine; the legible impressed marks on the underside being 5, LJ 66, N (within a C), and JM; one impressed mark illegible; also a small painted X
