Le Corbusier LC4 chaise lounge chair designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand and manufactured in Italy by Cassina. Anatomically shaped black leather upholstered chair on two curved steel tubes rests on a four legged-frame. Signed and numbered “Le Corbusier LC/4 3503”. An example of the LC4 chair is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Condition
One leather tie-down detached. Minor rust and pitting on various metal frame parts commensurate with age.
