Three (3) 1899 US $1 "Black Eagle" silver certificates, featuring a vignette of an eagle standing on the flag before the Capitol building, center, with the portraits of Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant, below, left and right, obverse. Engraved by George Frederick Cumming Smillie (District of Columbia, 1854-1924). 1st item: Serial # D21211141A/ pp A. FR # 233. Teehee/Burke signatures. 2nd item: Serial # H81083404A/ pp D. FR # 235. Elliot/White signatures. 3rd item: Serial # N2380535A/ pp C. FR # 236. Speelman/White signatures.
