Description
International 1810 sterling silver tea service, 5 pieces, including a teapot, coffeepot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, and open waste bowl. Waste bowl and creamer with gilt wash interiors and all pieces marked on the base. 61.89 total troy ounces, ranging in size from 4" H x 5 3/4" W to 9 1/4" H x 10 1/4" W. Circa 1930. Also included with the tea service is a marked Old Sheffield Atkin Brothers octagonal tray with chased foliate center, pierced gallery and shell feet (2 1/2" H x 22 5/8" W x 5 1/2" D) together with an English silverplate hot water kettle, pineapple over WP hallmarks, with chased foliate and cartouche designs to the body over raised paw feet (12" H x 9 1/2" W). Condition
Tea set monogrammed EKH. Handles to both pots loose, coffee pot with vertical dent to back, tea pot with dent to upper shoulder. All tea set pieces overall general wear. Sheffield tray with general wear and losses. Kettle pin chain broken on one end, overall good condition with general wear.
