Thirty-nine (39) Tennessee Bank Notes and US Bills. 1st item: One (1) Shelby County, Tennessee $5 bill, Series 3, 1873, Henry Seibert & Bros, New York, NY. Agricultural vignettes, lower left and right. Bill "certifies Shelby County is indebted to Selma, Marion, and Memphis Rail Road, or bearer, the sum of Five Dollars for Stock Subscription in said Road". Serial Number 1885. Chairman of the County Court signature. 2nd item: One (1) Bank of Chattanooga, Tennessee $5 bill, issued in Chattanooga, TN, June 20, 18_8, printed by Danforth, Wright, and Co., New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA. Vignette of Commerce, lower left, allegorical female figures, top and lower center, lower right. Serial Number 8142/ pp B.
