East Asia, China, Qing Dynasty, ca. 1644 to 1912 CE. A fine porcelain jar with a slight concave base, a bulbous body, a rounded shoulder, a petite rim, and a deep interior cavity. The exterior surfaces are densely adorned in applied cobalt blue floral and vine decorations, with a crosshatch and club-shaped border above and a repeating reed-form border beneath. The exterior of the vessel is coated in a clear glaze, thus ensuring the beauty of this lovely work of art! Size: 3.875" W x 4.5" H (9.8 cm x 11.4 cm).

Age-commensurate surface wear, light roughness along rim and base, and light fading to glaze in some areas, otherwise intact and very good. Light earthen deposits in scattered areas. Old Chinese wax customs stamp on base.
