Art Nouveau bronze, after Lucien Charles Edouard Alliot (France, 1877-1967) modeled after the original sculpture titled "Phalene", depicting a female with draped covering and butterfly wings adorning her hair, standing on a raised naturalistic base. Titled lower front "Phalene" and signed back left of base "L Alliot" with other illegible stamp. 27" H x 8 3/4" W x 6 1/2" D. Weight 33 lbs. 20th century.
