Lemon gilt wood decorative fragment with scroll and acanthus designs, gesso on pine. Inscription en verso describes it as an "English frame fragment, purchased Charleston, 1992." 10" H x 23" W x 4" D. Likely 18th or early 19th century. Provenance: The Estates of Olen Bryant and late Vanderbilt University art professor Thomas Brumbaugh, Clarksville/Cottontown, Tennessee.
